Tips for Your Mortgage Payment

Because of the bad economy, many homeowners are having trouble with their mortgage payments.  They are racking their brains trying to come up with way in which to lower they payments.  They should know that there are options out there, they just need to look or ask.

Your CPA would be a good person to go talk to since this is his speciality and he can certainly give you some tips. But before you think of hiring someone to talk with, know that there is free help from the government in the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.  This is a certified counseling agency and there to help you in any way they can.

There are also those awful people out there who are ready and waiting to scam you out of your money so be aware of them and ask for references first.  Walk away from any company that claims that they can process your mortgage payments for you. Your payments to straight to the lender and never is a third party needed or used. Always speak to your lender first and see if there is a deal they can help you with because the last thing they want is for you to foreclose.
